Introduction

• SafeZoneBar is a Internet Explorer Toolbar that filter undesirable contents by sites or keywords.
• SafeZoneBar is written in Delphi 7.

Features

• URL Filtering. A database of at least 60,000 blocked sites. Future update may go up to 200,000 sites.
• Content Filtering. Block any sites with known keywords in safezone’s database. This will act as active filtering for sites that is not in the filtered list.
• Anti-Phishing. A country indicator will always be shown to let surfer know that site’s original country. Any site that goes to Moscow or China will indicate a possible phished site.

• Most phished sites are hosted on shared IP while financial institute like banks will host on a dedicated IP. SafeZoneBar can do a reverse browse on the URL’s IP to indicate the true site’s owner.
